In a horrific road accident in Hamirpur district, Uttar Pradesh, a high-speed Mercedes car plummeted 25 feet off the flyover on the Bundelkhand Expressway. Traveling from Jabalpur to Delhi, the vehicle bore four passengers. Following the mishap, all four youth sustained injuries and were referred to the Medical College in Orai after preliminary treatment.
Fortunately, the deployment of the car's airbags saved the lives of the Mercedes occupants, despite them suffering significant injuries. Their condition is reported to be stable, and they are currently receiving medical care. The local police have informed their families and assured them that there is no immediate danger.
According to reports, the accident occurred near the village of Jakheri, within Rath Kotwali jurisdiction, around 6 in the morning. The Mercedes, heading towards Delhi, became uncontrollable and fell from the flyover at Jakheri village. The timely opening of the airbags was instrumental in sparing the lives of the young men on board.

The victims, despite the airbags, sustained several injuries. Ambulance services promptly transported the injured to the Community Health Centre in Rath, from where they were referred to the Medical College in Orai.
The injured include 25-year-old Naresh, son of Jile Singh from Gurugram; 28-year-old Sumit, son of Ashok from Delhi; 32-year-old Chaudhary Abdul Munaf, son of Farooq from Delhi; and 32-year-old Manjeet Singh, son of Om Prakash from Delhi. The four men were travelling from Jabalpur to Delhi when they met with the accident near Hamirpur.
