A shocking incident has emerged from Hathras in Uttar Pradesh. In the Hathras Junction police station area, a 23-year-old woman was gang-raped. The news created a stir once it became public. The police rushed to the spot after receiving the information and assessed the situation. They have registered a case and started searching for the accused.
Circle Officer Shyamveer Singh explained that a complaint was received on Wednesday reporting that on August 2, five people had gang-raped the 23-year-old woman. According to the complaint, the victim had gone to Hathras Junction to meet an acquaintance named Deepak.

When the woman arrived in the Hathras Junction area, another man named Rishi was present alongside Deepak. Deepak took the woman to a secluded spot where three more men, Akash, Mahendra, and Hariom, joined them. The complaint states that all five men raped the woman and then fled the scene.
After the incident, the victim returned home and informed her family. Consequently, a complaint was lodged with the police. The police registered a case based on the victim's statements and have initiated a search for the accused. The police officials have stated that efforts are underway to apprehend the suspects, who have been absconding since Wednesday.
What Did the Victim's Father Say in His Complaint?
According to the report filed by the girl's father, he had gone to Hathras on August 2. At around 4:30 a.m., his daughter had gone for a walk to Hathras Junction, where an acquaintance took her to the fields. Four more accomplices joined them there, and they raped his daughter. They forcibly administered something to her head. His daughter somehow managed to reach a neighboring village, where someone informed the police. The police then escorted her to her house.
Due to fear, his daughter couldn't disclose her location. On August 3, when he came to know about the situation, he brought his daughter back from the house. Because of societal pressure, she remained silent. However, she later shared the whole incident with the family, leading to the complaint being filed. The police registered a case and conducted a medical examination of the woman.
