In Haryana, the CIA police of Palwal have arrested a man accused of spying for Pakistan. This move was taken based on inputs received from central investigation agencies. The accused, Taufeeq, is a resident of Alimev village (Mewat) in the Hathin block. He was allegedly sending confidential Indian military information to the Pakistani High Commission.
The mobile of the arrested suspect has yielded evidence linked to treason. During interrogation, he admitted that he began his connections with Pakistan after traveling there in 2022.
The accused, Taufeeq, hails from Alimev village in the Hathin block. He has been booked under various sections, including sedition. Numerous pieces of evidence related to treason have been seized from his mobile. Based on these pieces of evidence, intelligence agencies and Haryana police are conducting in-depth interrogations.
