The government provides farmers with an annual financial aid of 6,000 rupees. This amount is directly transferred to their accounts under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Every four months, three installments of 2,000 rupees each are sent to farmers' accounts. So far, 20 installments have been released, and farmers are now eagerly waiting for the next installment.
While the 21st installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme has already begun, it has only been released for farmers in four states: Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Jammu and Kashmir. Other states are still awaiting their turn. Farmers must ensure they have adhered to all guidelines issued by the government. Failing to do so may result in missing the next installment.
If farmers connected to the PM Kisan scheme have not completed e-KYC, they might miss out on installments. This step is mandatory under the scheme's rules. Visit the official PM Kisan website to complete this process using an OTP.

If you are one of the farmers whose land records have not been verified, you could also miss out on the upcoming installments of the PM Kisan scheme. You can complete your land records verification by visiting the district agriculture office.
Any error in your application form can cause you to miss out on the installment. If your bank account number is incorrect, your installment may be stuck. Furthermore, not linking your bank account with your Aadhar card can also stall your installment. If you have made any of these mistakes, you might miss out on the benefits. Check your name and status in the beneficiary list on the official PM Kisan website, pmkisan.gov.in.
