Migrant Worker Lynched in Haryana Over Beef Consumption Suspicion

Police have arrested five members of the cow protection group for allegedly lynching a migrant worker on suspicion of beef consumption in Haryana's Charkhi Dadri district. Two juveniles involved in the case have also been apprehended. According to a senior police officer, the worker was identified as Sabir Malik from West Bengal, and the incident occurred on August 27.

Police revealed on Saturday that two migrant workers were brutally beaten on suspicion of consuming beef in Charkhi Dadri district, Haryana. Sabir Malik from West Bengal died due to the assault, while another sustained serious injuries. Five accused members of the cow protection group have been arrested. According to a senior police officer, Sabir Malik was killed on August 27.

'Accused Lured Worker with False Pretext'

The officer stated that the accused members of the cow protection group brutally beat the worker on suspicion of beef consumption, leading to his death. The accused, Abhishek, Mohit, Ravinder, Kamaljeet, and Sahil, lured victim Sabir Malik to a shop on the pretext of selling empty plastic bottles and later assaulted him severely.

Two Juveniles Involved: Police

The officer further mentioned that when some people intervened, the accused took Sabir Malik to another location and beat him again, resulting in his death. All five accused have been arrested, along with two juveniles involved in the case.
