The Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, Harivansh, has given a sharp response to the constant attacks by the opposition leader in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi. He remarked that if we delve into history, there were many incidents during the Congress government's tenure that went unattended.
Recalling an incident from 2013, Harivansh mentioned that senior strategic expert Brahma Chellaney noted that terrorists beheaded our soldiers in the Keran sector of Jammu and Kashmir. At that time, the then Prime Minister was on a visit to the United States and was about to meet the then President, Barack Obama. However, this news was concealed from the nation, and the public was not informed.

'I can recount 2,500 incidents'
With a sharp tone, Harivansh stated, "If we start revisiting the past, I can list 2,500 incidents between 2004 and 2014 where actions should have been taken but were not. Under Congress's rule, there were countless occasions when the government needed to take decisive steps, yet they remained silent."
This statement came in response to Rahul Gandhi's tweet questioning why PM Modi trusted Pakistan's statements and succumbed to US pressure during Operation Sindoor.
Through insinuations, Harivansh warned Rahul Gandhi that if the Pandora's box of history opens, uncomfortable incidents involving Congress might also come to light. His counter clearly indicates that the NDA camp will now respond with equal intensity to the attacks initiated by the opposition.
