Election campaigning is in full swing for the impending by-elections on seven assembly seats in Rajasthan. With all their vigour, leaders of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party, Congress, and other regional parties are working hard to sway voters.
Amidst this, Rajasthan BJP Chief Madan Rathore made a striking statement on Saturday. He mentioned that if Kanika Beniwal, wife of RLP MP Hanuman Beniwal, loses the Khimsar by-election, it will benefit Hanuman Beniwal. He opined that with a loss, she could focus on nurturing the family’s children at home.
Kanika Beniwal is contesting the by-election on November 13th as the RLP candidate. Rathore voiced his concern, pondering what the future holds for their family if both Beniwal and his wife continue their political pursuits.

Rathore pointed out, "I saw on social media that Hanuman Beniwal was worried about his wife losing the election and considering returning to her parental home. Brother, if you feel so threatened, why take the risk of involving her in a by-election?"
He further added, "You (Hanuman Beniwal) are aware she might not win. However, my advice to you, Hanuman Ji, is that if your wife loses, it could actually be beneficial. Wherever she goes, be it her parents' place, she will be taking care of the children. Isn't it important to care for the kids? If both of you persist in politics, what will happen to your family? This perspective is important to grasp."
Rathore also targeted Congress, criticizing that many of its leaders are out on bail while still involved in politics. He stated, "Congress's leaders are out on bail. They committed huge scams and were arrested. Now, out on bail, they're engaging in politics." He mentioned names like Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, P. Chidambaram, and other politicians.
