A 23-year-old biker tragically lost his life in Gurugram, Haryana, after colliding with a car traveling on the wrong side of the road. Following reports of police leniency, the incident has sparked significant discussion on social media, with many alleging that the case is being suppressed due to the car driver's supposed political influence. An investigation into the social media activity of the driver, Kuldeep Thakur, reveals that the controversy's epicenter runs a PR, advertising, and political communications agency near Delhi in Ghitorni, Gurugram.

Vehicle with BJP Candidate’s Sticker

The car in question was a Mahindra XUV 3OO, featuring a sticker supporting Gaurav Gautam, a BJP candidate from the Palwal Assembly constituency. Thakur also posted pictures with senior Congress leader Rajeev Shukla, who had allegedly visited his office, All Axis Media.

Reportedly, ‘All Axis Media’ boasts over 208,000 followers, managing the BJP-supporting Facebook page ‘Ek Vichar BJP Sarkar’. Another firm linked to his business partner has reportedly campaigned against BJP in Haryana. The ‘Baat To Thik Hai’ page promoted former Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala and his Jannayak Janata Party (JJP). This page is managed by 'All Axis Media Tech', where the company's co-founder Amit Anand is listed as the founder. Both companies are situated at the same address in Southwest Delhi's Ghitorni.

According to Meta's ad library report, ‘All Axis Media’ spent ₹36,229 on paid promotions for posts on the ‘Ek Vichar BJP Sarkar’ page, often targeting political rivals like Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren.

‘All Axis Media Tech’ also paid for advertisements on the Facebook page ‘Pain of Palwal’, the constituency where Gaurav Gautam is contesting the elections. The page seeks to highlight issues affecting the constituency, criticize the current Congress MLA, and call for change.

Notably, this accident occurred on the morning of September 15 when Kuldeep Thakur was driving in the wrong direction on Golf Course Road, Gurugram, colliding with the victim riding a sports bike. He was granted bail the same day and has since disappeared, deactivating his profiles on LinkedIn and Instagram.

This wasn’t the first time the accused was caught driving in the wrong direction. Official documents accessed by ‘India Today’ indicate previous traffic violations, resulting in fines for driving and parking in the wrong direction.

Police have filed an FIR against the accused under sections 106 (negligent death), 281 (overspeeding), 324(4) (damage exceeding ₹20,000), and 166 (compensation after a motor vehicle accident) of the Motor Vehicles Act.
