The Bihar Board has announced the 12th class results for the year. An impressive 87.21% of students have cleared the intermediate exams in 2024. Mrityunjaya Kumar from Siwan has topped the science stream with 96.2% marks. Meanwhile, Prince Kumar from Gopalganj secured the third rank at the state level with 95.4%. Prince's brother, Love Kumar, also performed notably in the science stream, securing 450 marks. The family is elated with their sons' outcomes.
Parents' Unyielding Spirits Shine Through
Achieving third position in Bihar, Prince Kumar has raised his parents' spirits. His vegetable seller father has raised eight children. Both sons now shine as proud achievers in the BSEB-conducted intermediate science exams, underscoring the family's commitment to education that defies the constraints of poverty. To ensure uninterrupted education, mother Urmila Devi operates a grocery store, while father Bala Sah works diligently selling vegetables and rearing goats.
Steering Clear of Distractions
In Navada village within Barauli, Gopalganj, Bala Sah has six daughters and two sons, with Prince being the youngest. Bala Sah proudly states that his six daughters are all college-educated. Prince's mother, Urmila Devi, remarks that her children studied all night, rarely touching their mobile phones or wandering aimlessly but focusing entirely on their studies.
Aspiring for Civil Service, Not Medicine or Engineering
Prince Kumar is determined to compete in the BPSC exams to fulfill his dream of becoming an officer, setting aside traditional career paths like medicine or engineering. His and his brother's academic success fills their hearts with joy, committed to leaving no stone unturned in their education.
