The festival of Holi is just around the corner, and people are returning to their homes to celebrate the vibrant festival. As usual, the trains are getting crowded. It is for this very reason that the Indian Railways is operating special Holi trains this year as well. If you need to get home to celebrate Holi and can't find a train ticket, we're here to inform you about some special Holi trains. These trains will help you return home and celebrate the festival with your loved ones.
In addition to the trains already announced, two more pairs of Holi Special trains will be operational between Jabalpur-Prayagraj Chivki-DDU-Patliputra-Hajipur and from Udhan to Barauni and Samastipur. The Eastern Central Railway's Chief Public Relations Officer, Virendra Kumar, has informed that 67 pairs of Holi Special trains were previously announced. Thus, a total of 69 pairs of Holi Special trains will be operated.

Train number 09097/09098 Udhan-Barauni-Udhan Special (via Jabalpur-Prayagraj Chivki-DDU-Ara-Patliputra-Hajipur)
- Train number 09097 Udhan-Barauni Special will depart from Udhan on March 21st (Thursday) at 11:00 AM and, stopping at Patliputra, will arrive at Barauni at 9:00 PM on Friday. Train number 09098 Barauni-Udhan Special will depart from Barauni on March 22nd, 2024 (Friday) at 11:00 PM and, after stopping at Patliputra, will arrive in Udhan at 10:00 AM on Sunday.
Train number 09009/09010 Udhan-Samastipur-Udhan Special (via Jabalpur-Prayagraj Chivki-DDU-Ara-Patliputra-Hajipur-Muzaffarpur)
- Train number 09009 Udhan-Samastipur Special will depart from Udhan on March 22nd (Friday) at 10:10 PM and, stopping at Patliputra, will arrive at Samastipur at 5:30 AM on Sunday. Train number 09010 Samastipur-Udhan Special will depart from Samastipur on March 24th, 2024 (Sunday) at 7:30 AM and, after stopping at Patliputra, will arrive in Udhan at 5:00 PM on Monday.
