Lok Sabha Elections 2024:

During an emergency meeting in Podaiyahat, a part of the Godda Lok Sabha constituency, on Saturday, hundreds of concerned citizens levied serious charges. They also announced their intention to boycott the vote.

According to reports, local dissatisfaction grows over delays in apprehending the murderers of businessman and BJP supporter Shailendra Bhagat. Concerns about the surge in criminal activities in Podaiyahat main market have prompted demands to repair non-functional CCTVs and install additional ones.

The Administration's Eight-Day Ultimatum

On April 4th, Shailendra was brutally gunned down near the police station. The meeting, attended by heads of villages, elected representatives, and political party workers, unanimously issued an eight-day ultimatum. Failure to act will result in a total election boycott warning.
