After this incident in Ghazipur, a case was filed at Kotwali police station based on the testimony of a railway engineer. The SP City mentioned that a few days ago, some people placed stones on the railway tracks, leading to the arrest of three individuals.

In the early morning, the Satyagrahi Express train came to a sudden halt on the tracks with a loud noise. Upon reporting this to the nearby Ghazipur City railway station, the RPF, GRP, civil police, and technical engineers arrived at the scene. During the investigation, a large wooden log was found placed on the tracks, which, after passing under the train's wheels, got lodged in the engine.

Luckily, no major accident occurred. However, the engine developed a technical fault due to the wooden log, delaying the train by about two hours. Ghazipur’s SP City Gyanendra Narayan confirmed the incident, stating that it falls under the jurisdiction of Kotwali Ghazipur police station. An FIR has been lodged based on the railway engineer’s statement. A similar incident occurred recently where large stones were placed on the tracks.
