A towering inferno took hold in a footwear shop located in the bustling Gyan Khand III area of Indirapuram, Ghaziabad. The blaze, which also reached a ground floor apartment, triggered an immediate response from the fire brigade, arriving with six vehicles to tackle the raging flames.

Demonstrating remarkable composure, the fire brigade team carried out a successful evacuation, ensuring the safety of individuals trapped in both the shop and the flat. In consideration of the situation's severity, law enforcement and administrative authorities prudently cleared nearby buildings to avert further calamities.

Preliminary investigations suggest that a short circuit could be the root cause of the fire, although some local residents speculate that fireworks might also be to blame. The precise cause of the incident is still under investigation.
