After seven months of a relentless conflict, Israel and Hamas continue their aggressive engagement. Israel's latest round of airstrikes focused on central Gaza's Nusseirat refugee camp, leading to at least five Palestinian deaths and numerous injuries. Israeli bombardment has also damaged homes and a UN school.

Israel reported a rocket attack on its Kerem Shalom crossing, claiming the lives of three Israeli soldiers and pointing the finger at Hamas. Following the incident, Israel shut down the crossing—one of few channels conveying humanitarian aid to Gaza. Prime Minister Netanyahu pledged once again to annihilate Hamas.

Benjamin Netanyahu stated, 'As the sole Jewish state's Prime Minister, I vow today from Jerusalem that if we must stand alone, we shall stand alone. Yet we know we are not alone, as countless civilized individuals worldwide support our cause. I promise you we will defeat our genocidal enemies, ensuring they can’t rise again.'

Following inconclusive talks in Cairo, both Israel and Hamas have launched fresh offensives. The ceasefire discussions failed partly because Hamas sought a complete cessation of hostilities, including Israeli troop withdrawal from Gaza.

Meanwhile, Israel pushed for a 40-day halt to the hostilities. Attention now shifts to forthcoming talks in Qatar, with a CIA chief expected to partake. The ongoing conflict has devastated Gaza, leaving countless displaced and living in makeshift tents.

The constant bombardment in Gaza has turned buildings into rubble while an escalating health crisis looms amidst the ruin. International reports paint a grim picture, with the University of California expressing concerns over Gaza as it faces a dire public health catastrophe. Millions are homeless.

In Gaza, shortages of food, water, electricity, internet, and medical supplies are rampant. The south city of Rafah is among the hardest hit, as displaced families inhabit temporary shelters. Critical supply shortages are causing rapid illness among children.
