Gangster Kala Jathedi marries Lady Don Anuradha Chaudhary:
Infamous gangster Sandeep, aka Kala Jathedi, and the notorious Lady Don Anuradha Chaudhary, tied the knot in a dramatic ceremony on Tuesday. For this event, a Delhi court granted the gangster a six-hour custodial parole. He was also given a six-hour parole for his homecoming on March 14th, but it was later annulled. Every custom of their nuptials, held in Delhi's Santosh Garden, was meticulously timed to comply with the court-ordered schedule. As the clock ticked, so did the execution of Kala Jathedi and Anuradha's matrimonial rituals. Let's walk you through the minute-by-minute account of this captivating wedding...
March 12, 2024, 9 AM, Tihar's Mandoli Jail
Every moment was precious. In these valuable moments, he had just 360 minutes, meaning 6 hours. The jail staff and police were acutely aware of this. Hence, the parole commenced exactly at 9 AM - one hour before 10 o'clock - and the prisoner van awaited at Mandoli Jail's gates. At the stroke of 9 AM, the bridegroom - Kala Jathedi stepped into the van. He donned a blue shirt and jeans, his hands secured in handcuffs. Ahead and behind the van, Delhi Police's SWAT team and six more vehicles, carrying around 30 officers armed with automatic weapons, were already in place.
The gangster's procession left the jail an hour early
Now, the groom's convoy, flanked by police, departed from the jail. It would take roughly an hour to reach Santosh Garden from Mandoli Jail - suggesting Jathedi would only reach the wedding canopy by 10 AM. That's why he was released an hour before the parole deadline to ensure the entire six hours granted by the court were utilized. Jathedi's procession sped away towards the pavilion - his own unique bridal march.
The bride arrived at Santosh Garden with an eight-car entourage
Next was the bride's turn. But Anuradha's entourage was distinctly different from that of the groom's. Since Lady Don, Anuradha, aka Kala Jathedi's 'Revolver Rani', was out on bail, she wasn't under police custody but free. Driving her own black Scorpio, she left Jathedi village for the wedding pavilion. Accompanied by her vehicle, the don and lady don's relatives set out in 8 separate cars. Upon arrival, Anuradha was radiant in a red suit, her hands adorned with henna, which etched both her own and Jathedi's portraits as well as their names on her palms - Anuradha Chaudhary and Sandeep.

Security was tight at the wedding, with even children searched and guests asked to remove their shoes. No permission was given for the DJ to play, which was unusual for Kala Jathedi who enjoys Haryanvi music and is often seen dancing at other weddings. However, since it was his own wedding, the police did not allow a DJ to be played.
March 12, 2024, 11 AM, Santosh Garden
The priest arrives at the pavilion for the wedding rites. With the newlyweds present, the ceremonial chants weave through the air, signaling the start of the nuptial rituals that last two hours. Amidst exchanging garlands and taking the seven sacred rounds, the couple vows into union. By one o'clock, the wedding concludes, followed by guests offering their congratulations. The feast was also ready, everything was on schedule due to the 360-minute window available. The clock's hands did not stop moving, and by three, the banquet was concluded.
Instead of the bride, it was the groom who had his farewell from the wedding pavilion as Jathedi was escorted back to the jail promptly at 4 PM under strict surveillance. Meanwhile, his bride, Anuradha Chaudhary, stayed behind at the marriage hall to fulfill other commitments. She had adorned her hands not only with Jathedi's name in henna but also pictured the two of them, which she proudly showed off during interviews given to date. And thus, the wedding was successfully accomplished, and the entire law enforcement breathed a sigh of relief.
