: Preparations in Ayodhya for the highly anticipated Ram Navami are gaining momentum, with an estimated 40 million devotees expected to participate. The anticipation of a large crowd has prompted extensive preparations, with the temple set to stay open longer to accommodate devotees. Over three days, the temple will open for 20 consecutive hours each day, ensuring that the administration in Ayodhya is prepared for 'round the clock' festivities.
To cater for the Ram Navami celebrations on April 17th, the administration has activated a control room that will now operate 24/7. Various department officials and employees have been assigned responsibilities, with hospitals also put on high alert.
Staff Deployment Over 24 Hours in Three Shifts
In addition to the police force, officers and employees from various departments will serve in three different shifts. A coordinated effort involving different departments has been established in the control room. Police and administration have scheduled duties specifically for this occasion, with assistants from various departments deployed for 24-hour shifts.

Coordination Among Various Department Teams
Teams from the police, health, Ayodhya municipality, and electrical departments will be present to ensure quick completion of related tasks. The Chief Secretary of UP had previously held a preparatory meeting for Ram Navami. The Ram Navami fair in Ayodhya started on April 9th and will conclude on the day of Ram Navami, April 17th.

This new control room has been fully activated behind the New Ghat police outpost. Here, officials are on duty around the clock, with prior assigned administration and policing responsibilities. Furthermore, duties have also been assigned to essential service departments like health, municipal corporation, and electricity.

Outside the Temple: Crowd Management Strategies
Given the influx of devotees expected on Ram Navami in Ayodhya, extensive crowd management strategies will be implemented outside the temple. Officers have been directed to patrol their respective zones and sectors, providing updates to high-ranking officials on the situation. Zonal and sectoral in-charge will work in harmony to manage the anticipated congregation. Authorities have been instructed to stay alert in the Naraya Ghat Zone, Nageshwar Nath Zone, Hanuman Garhi Temple Zone, and Kanak Bhavan Temple Zone.
