Amidst the throngs of pilgrims at the Prayagraj Mahakumbh, where accommodations are hard to come by, a family from Bengal has devised an innovative approach to stay. They’ve brought their portable home, allowing them to avoid the chaos of seeking lodging. Their two foldable tents comfortably house up to 12 people.

This family ordered two foldable tents online for just 3,000 rupees. Ingeniously designed, these tents are not only cozy but can be conveniently folded and transported anywhere. Family members explain that inside the tent, they enjoy conversations in comfort, unaffected by the harsh sunlight outside. The tents offer amenities akin to a room, eliminating the need for a hotel or lodge.

The foldable tents, accommodating the family of 12, allow them to pack up each morning and head to a new ghats or open space. Priced at just 3,000 rupees, these tents have saved their entire accommodation costs, letting them attend the Mahakumbh for ritual baths with their family.

Over the past eight days, the family has experimented with staying at different ghats during the Mahakumbh. Each morning, they pack their tents, placing them in a garden and engage in Ganga baths, prayers, and other religious activities. By evening, they unwind their tents near new ghats. While countless devotees opt for expensive hotels and inns, this family has found an extraordinary alternative.
