A significant fake drug racket was uncovered in an apartment in Delhi's Paschim Vihar area. This operation was executed late Monday night by a joint team of Delhi Police and the Drugs Control Department. Officials revealed that the racket was involved in manufacturing and distributing counterfeit drugs.

According to PTI, the gang had stored fake drugs of several reputed pharma companies in a temporary warehouse set up in a residential apartment. Large shipments from there were distributed to various states across the country.

Officials disclosed that the seized drugs bore the names and labels of well-known pharmaceutical companies such as ABBOTT, MSD, SANOFI, MACLEODS, DR REDDY, SWISS GARNIER, and MSN LABORATORIES, among others.

Preliminary investigations suggest these drugs could be counterfeit or suspicious. Currently, samples have been sent to labs for quality tests, and a thorough investigation is underway to determine the network and individuals associated with this racket.
