A sense of chaos overwhelmed the Satsang of Surajpal Narayan Sakar Hari, also known as Bhole Baba, in Sikandrarau on July 2nd. Tragically, this commotion led to the loss of 123 lives. Post-incident, various speculations regarding Surajpal's whereabouts have surfaced. Surajpal's whereabouts remain a mystery, akin to a conundrum, yet videos of Baba’s sermons, with his wife’s appearance alongside, are in public domain. Her presence is also marked in numerous Ashram photographs and she frequently shared the stage with Baba Narayan Sakar Hari at various gatherings.
Today, 'Aaj Tak' has spoken exclusively with Mewaram, a close relative of Surajpal. For the first time, Premvati's brother Mewaram has made a significant revelation about Surajpal, also known as Narayan Sakar Hari.
Mewaram elaborates that Baba is in constant touch with his followers. He converses over the phone with his confidants, firmly stating that Baba Narayan hasn't fled but is present at his Ashram. According to him, Baba Narayan has been framed as part of a conspiracy and his current location is being kept confidential.
This extensive conversation took place 40 kilometers from Eta at Guhatiya Khurd village, where Mewaram unfolded his narrative. Surajpal's wife, Premvati, also hails from the same village. Mewaram shared that Surajpal married his sister Premvati back in 1968, and that he was only ever married once, dispelling any rumors of multiple marriages as totally baseless.
According to Baba’s brother-in-law Mewaram, the catastrophe was a result of police and administration negligence. However, Mewaram has no answer to the question of why Baba has been underground since the stampede and why he hasn’t come forward, much like other devotees of Baba. Mewaram, along with other followers, continues to stand by Narayan Sakar Hari, defending him on every count.
