Srikala Reddy, from the influential Nippo Group family of Telangana, is Dhananjay Singh's third wife. Dhananjay, after becoming an MLA for the first time from the Rari constituency, married Meenu Singh on December 12, 2006. Meenu's father lived in Patna, Bihar, and was a bank manager. Nine months into the marriage, Meenu died under suspicious circumstances in 2007. While her family ruled it as suicide, the truth stayed shrouded in mystery. After Meenu's death, Dhananjay married Dr. Jagriti Singh on June 29, 2009.

Jagriti Singh had once contested for Assembly elections
Jagriti Singh's father, Umashankar Singh, was a project director in Jaunpur two decades ago. Jagriti was a doctor by profession. In 2012, when the Bahujan Samaj Party did not nominate the sitting MLA Rajdev Singh from Rari (now Malhani), a disgruntled Dhananjay fielded Jagriti as an independent candidate. She finished in second place.
Housemaid's abuse led to death
In 2013, at the Delhi-based MP residence, Jagriti mercilessly beat her housemaid, leading to the maid's unfortunate demise. Delhi Police arrested Jagriti Singh for the abuse, while CCTV footage incrimination and evidence tampering led to Dhananjay's arrest as well. In 2017, after much controversy, Dhananjay Singh divorced Dr. Jagriti Singh by mutual consent.
Dhananjay's third wedding was in France
Following the divorce, Dhananjay married Srikala Reddy of Telangana in Paris in June 2017. The reception in Lucknow saw the attendance of many ministers and politicians from Yogi's government. Among the attendees was Kripashankar Singh, who JP Nadda had recently named as a candidate from Jaunpur.
Who is Srikala Reddy?
Srikala Reddy hails from the business-conscious Nippo Battery group family of Telangana. Her late father, Jitendra Reddy, has been a cooperative chair and an independent MLA from Huzurnagar in Telangana. Srikala's mother, Lalita Reddy, has served as a village head. Five years ago, Srikala Reddy was inducted into the BJP by none other than the National President JP Nadda. By wielding his influence, Dhananjay managed to secure for Srikala Reddy the prestigious seat of District Panchayat President in 2021. Dhananjay has a son and a daughter, with the offspring from Dr. Jagriti Singh living with him, and a daughter from Srikala Reddy.
