The controversy surrounding the abuse towards Yadav storytellers in Etawah has gained momentum. Although the police have already arrested four suspects, the accused have approached the SP's office, leveling counter-allegations against the victims, adding a new dimension to the case.
Renu Tiwari, a woman involved in the religious event where the Yadav storytellers faced mistreatment, has come forward. She is seen in the viral video with the storyteller apologizing and touching her feet.

Now, Renu Tiwari has accused storyteller Mukut Mani Yadav and Sant Singh Yadav of harassment during the event. She, along with her husband, approached the SP demanding an investigation and action.
Woman Makes Serious Allegations Against Storyteller
According to Renu Tiwari from
Dandarpur Village
in Bakewar police jurisdiction, Mukut Mani Yadav, Sant Singh Yadav, and their associates came for the religious storytelling. After the first day's session, while serving them meals, the storyteller allegedly misbehaved by holding her finger, with another accomplice being present. She reported the incident to her husband then, leading to the youth confronting the storytellers and their team.
Renu's husband, Jaiprakash Tiwari, said, 'We live in Haridwar and work in private jobs. We came to Dandarpur village for the event. As soon as the storytellers misbehaved with my wife in the evening, we opposed them. They threatened us, claiming connections with a political party and warned of dire consequences, instilling fear due to their Yadav community association.'

However, Renu and Jaiprakash also mentioned that the treatment towards the storytellers was unwarranted and unwelcome. Complaints were lodged with the authorities, and an investigation assurance has been provided. A large number of Brahmin community members stood with Renu Tiwari.
Regarding the case, SSP Brijesh Kumar Srivastava stated that the woman's complaint is being taken seriously, and a thorough investigation is in progress. Appropriate actions will be taken based on the findings.
