In Uttar Pradesh's Etawah, there has been significant development in the misconduct case involving storyteller Yadav. The police have registered an FIR against storyteller Mukut Mani Yadav and his associate Sant Kumar Yadav. The allegations included harassment of a woman, concealing identity, hurting religious sentiments, and fraud. Members of the Brahmin community lodged a complaint at the SP office regarding these allegations.

It is noteworthy that Jai Prakash Tiwari, who filed the FIR against the storytellers, accused Mukut Mani Yadav of harassing his wife, Renu Tiwari. This led to a dispute where some individuals reportedly assaulted Mukut Mani and his associates. A video of this incident went viral on social media.

The complainant Jai Prakash Tiwari, a resident of Dandarpur in the Bakewar police station area, claimed in the report given to the police that Mukut Mani and his associate Sant Kumar falsely identified themselves as Brahmins. They allegedly used a fake Aadhaar card to hide their identity and caste. When the truth emerged, it was revealed that Mukut Mani is actually Mukut Singh Yadav and Sant Kumar is Sant Singh Yadav.

The complaint stated that the storyteller falsely presented himself as a Brahmin using a fabricated Aadhaar card, thus hurting religious sentiments and deceiving villagers. Hence, legal action and charges were demanded against the accused. The counterfeit Aadhaar card was presented as evidence to facilitate the investigation.

Earlier, FIRs had been filed against four people accused of assaulting the storytellers. The police arrested them and sent them to jail. This action caused discontent among Brahmin organizations, who felt the investigation was biased. They questioned why action was taken against those accused of misconduct while no action was taken against the storytellers accused of harassment.
