On Saturday morning, panic erupted aboard an Indigo Airlines flight from Medina to Hyderabad when a passenger claimed he was carrying a bomb. The crew immediately informed the pilot and security agencies, leading to an emergency landing at Ahmedabad Airport. There were 180 passengers on board, and as of now, no suspicious item has been discovered on the plane.

According to information, a passenger suddenly declared he had a bomb, alerting both the crew members and other passengers. Air Traffic Control (ATC) was promptly informed, and the aircraft was diverted to Ahmedabad Airport.

Around 11:30 AM, the plane made a safe emergency landing at Ahmedabad Airport. Subsequently, CISF and airport security teams surrounded the aircraft and safely evacuated all passengers.

The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) thoroughly inspected the aircraft but has not yet found any suspicious items.

The flight was carrying 180 passengers. The passenger who claimed to have a bomb has been immediately taken into custody. Ahmedabad police are interrogating him to understand why he made the threat and whether he is mentally sound or had any other motives.
