Once again, the horror of high velocity was seen in Noida. On a Sunday morning, an elderly man stepping out of his home was struck by a speeding luxury Audi car, leading to his instant demise. The incident occurred near Kanchanchunga Market in the Sector 24 area and was captured on CCTV.
According to reports, around 6 AM on Sunday, the elderly resident of Gizhod, Janakdev Shah, was passing by the market when a white Audi came speeding towards him and hit him. The victim tried to evade the vehicle, but it was too late. Due to the impact, he was sent flying several feet into the air and landed at a distance, resulting in immediate death. The entire harrowing scene was recorded by a nearby CCTV camera.
Following the accident, the victim's family and acquaintaries reached the police station to file a written complaint. Police took custody of the body and sent it for autopsy. The identification of the vehicle has not been made yet. The police are trying to identify the car based on the CCTV footage.
It's to be noted that just a few days ago, a luxury BMW car in the Sector 24 area collided with an e-rickshaw, claiming two lives. Now, once more, a case involving a high-end vehicle has come to light in the same area. Currently, the police team is actively working with the victim’s relatives to identify the vehicle involved.
