In a high-tension courtroom drama, Samajwadi Party MLA Irfan Solanki was escorted to the MP MLA Sessions Court regarding an arson case. Amidst the court precincts, Irfan Solanki began to cry out suddenly, likening himself to an animal and launched a scathing attack on police conduct.

When questioned why he likened himself to an animal, Solanki deflected, urging the media to ask the police commissioner why he was taken to the police line instead of being presented in front of a judge. 'Were they planning an encounter?' Solanki speculated, voicing concerns about a potential attack on his life and demanding to know the rationale behind his detention at the police line for two hours. 'Soon, there might be news that the MLA has suffered an attack,' he said ominously.

Imprisoned at the Maharajganj Jail, MLA Irfan Solanki and his brother Rizwan Solanki were formally accused by Najir Fatima at the Jaajmau police station on November 8, 2022. It was in connection with this case that Solanki appeared in the Kanpur MP-MLA court. While a verdict was expected today, it has been deferred, with the next hearing scheduled for April 6. In court, Solanki's loud declarations of being an 'animal' interrupted the proceedings, followed by laughter and his abrupt exit. The video capturing this incident has swiftly gone viral on social media.
