The wife of Samajwadi Party supremo and Member of Parliament for Mainpuri, Dimple Yadav, has filed her nomination, declaring in her affidavit ownership of property exceeding ₹15.5 crores. Dimple holds ₹57,2447 in cash, over ₹10.44 crores in immovable property, and more than ₹5.10 crores in movable assets.
Following Mulayam Singh Yadav's passing, Dimple Yadav contested a by-election for the now-vacant Mainpuri seat in 2022, revealing property worth ₹14 crores at the time.

Samajwadi Party supremo Akhilesh Yadav has ₹25,71,804 in cash, and owns immovable property valued over ₹17.22 crores, in addition to ₹9.12 crores in movable assets.

In her affidavit, Dimple discloses owning a computer valued at ₹1.25 lakhs, over 2.774 kg of gold jewelry, 203 g of pearls, and a 127.75-carat diamond worth ₹59,76,687. Meanwhile, her husband Akhilesh Yadav owns a mobile phone exceeding ₹76,000 in value, an exercise machine worth ₹5.34 lakhs, and crockery upwards of ₹1.6 lakhs.
The Debt Burden on Dimple and Akhilesh
Dimple faces debts over ₹74.44 lakhs, whereas Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav has debts exceeding ₹25.40 lakhs.
No Criminal Cases Registered Against the SP Candidate
