A devastating accident occurred in Rohtas, Bihar. In the Karakat Police Station area of Jamua, a Thar Jeep spiraled out of control, running over four people. A woman tragically succumbed to her injuries immediately, while three young men were left injured. Bystanders managed to detain the driver of the Jeep, and police authorities took the suspect into custody upon arrival.
According to reports, near the Jamua petrol pump, the speeding Thar Jeep first struck a woman standing at the roadside. The vehicle then collided with three young men seated on the railing of a bridge, breaking through and plunging into a ditch on the opposite side. The injured were promptly admitted to a private clinic in Bikramganj for their treatment.
The Karakat police, upon reaching the site, took possession of the deceased woman's body for postmortem proceedings. The deceased was identified as a resident of Jamua village. The tragic accident has thrown the woman's family into a state of turmoil and grief.
A chilling CCTV video of the incident has surfaced, revealing three young men seated on a ledge with their bike parked nearby. A woman is seen passing by just as the out-of-control Thar Jeep speeds towards them. The young men, realizing the approaching danger, attempt to flee, only for the Jeep to plow through the woman and subsequently strike the men, before veering into a roadside ditch. A crowd quickly gathers to assist, reflecting the magnitude of the collision as signaled by the loud approach of the vehicle.
