An intriguing case has emerged from Deoria, Uttar Pradesh. A bride, after reaching her in-laws' house, surprisingly refused to stay with her husband after merely 20 minutes. She insisted on returning to her parental home, prompting hours of discussions between both parties.

According to information, a young man from the Bhalauni area was wedded to a young woman from the Salempur area. The wedding took place on November 25th at a marriage hall in Deoria, following all Hindu customs, with the groom's party graciously welcomed and the rituals of door worship and garland exchange conducted.

Demand to Return to Parental Home Immediately

The following morning, on November 26th, the bride was ceremonially welcomed at her in-laws’. Women helped her out of the car, and the traditional face-revealing ceremony began. However, the bride abruptly stepped outside and insisted she could not remain at her in-laws'. She demanded her family be called immediately.

The husband and in-laws attempted to reason with her, but she stood firm in her decision. Eventually, the bride’s family arrived, and despite their attempts to persuade her, she remained resolute. After five hours of deliberation, the bride attributed her decision to the behavior of her in-laws, refusing to stay with her husband.

Mutual Agreement Leads to Separation

In the end, both parties mutually agreed to return the exchanged gifts. Subsequently, the bride returned to her parental home, and the marriage was annulled. Officer Pradeep Pandey from the Bhalauni police station reported that although the matter reached Dial 112, no formal police case was filed. The separation was settled through mutual consent during the discussions.
