During a school scuffle, a coalition of four students committed an atrocious act against an eighth-grade student by inserting a rod into his private parts. The incident occurred in the jurisdiction of New Ashok Nagar police station in Delhi. An FIR has been registered, and the police have disclosed that the act was the result of an altercation among students from the same class.
Following the insertion of the rod, the student was brutally beaten before the perpetrators fled the scene. The family indicates that the vile act occurred on March 18th. The mother, through tears, laments the level of barbarism equal to the infamous Nirbhaya case exacted upon her child.
The victim's mother accuses five boys of involvement, with police yet to apprehend four. Both school and police are accused of non-cooperation by the victim's family, who have been denied access to the principal.
Threats also issued against the victim's sister
In his statement to the police, the victim mentioned seeking help from his yoga teacher and being threatened by his assailants regarding his sister who also attends the same school, pressuring him to remain silent to protect her.
Accused students approached wearing masks
Furthermore, the victim underwent a 5-hour surgery and was in ICU for 4-5 days. Doctors warned the injury could have been fatal. The assailants acted with premeditated malice, their faces concealed by masks. The family strongly alleges that the eighth-grader coordinated with older students to commit this crime.
Hospital alerts police
On April 2nd, police were notified of a 14-year-old boy's assault admitted to Noida's Manas Hospital. Investigating officers collected the medical report which confirmed the nature of injury inflicted.
Police facilitate victim counseling
The victim identified an assailant to officers, having been threatened to keep the incident private. Counseling has been provided, and legal proceedings are underway.
