A grim property dispute in Delhi's Narela claimed the life of an individual. According to the police, 55-year-old Dharampal was fatally shot, leading to the apprehension of two suspects as further legal proceedings unfold.

As per a news agency's report, the police became aware of the incident when Dinesh Kumar and his acquaintance Bhup Singh approached the Narela police station on Saturday. Dinesh Kumar confessed to the police about shooting Dharampal with his licensed revolver, citing a disagreement over property sale commission as the motive.

Bloodshed Over Property Sale Commission

Upon receiving the information, a police team accompanied the suspect to the crime scene. Guided by Dinesh Kumar, Dharampal's body was discovered near a village tubewell. The authorities confirmed the shooting, noting blood streaming from the victim's neck and nose.

The deceased's son, Pradeep (35), identified the body as his father Dharampal. Crime team and Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) officials were summoned to collect evidence. The murder weapon, a licensed revolver, has been secured by the police.

Licensed Revolver Used in Murder, Two Suspects Detained

A case has been registered under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Arms Act. Pradeep, the victim's son, accused Dinesh Kumar and Bhup Singh of being responsible for his father's murder. The police have taken both suspects into custody for interrogation.

Initial investigations suggest that the killing resulted from a dispute over commission in a property transaction. Nonetheless, the police are continuing their investigation to connect the sequence of events and clarify the exact role of each suspect.
