Mapping the Room: Delhi Police Recreate Crime Scene at CM's Residence, Secure CCTV Footage on Pen Drive

Delhi Police recreated the scene at the Chief Minister’s residence regarding the assault case of Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP, Swati Maliwal. The forensic team departed from the CM's residence late at night. According to sources, the police have transferred some CCTV footage to a pen drive and may visit the CM's residence again today for further investigation.

The forensic team reached the CM's abode on Friday evening. Shortly after their arrival, Swati Maliwal was asked to help recreate the crime scene, detailing events and the presence of individuals at the time of the incident on May 13th. Swati Maliwal, along with the Additional DCP North, remained inside the CM's house while FSL and other teams were stationed in the drawing room.

With the help of Swati Maliwal, the police undertook the mapping of the drawing room, inquiring about the number of people present and their positions at the time of the misconduct. The Delhi Police and FSL team arrived at around 4:40 PM, during which statements from the house staff were taken. Police requested details of the officers present in the CM's house from the police security head on May 13th.

Maliwal alleges being violently assaulted by Vibhav

In her complaint to the police, Swati Maliwal narrates that on the morning of May 13th, as she arrived at Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's house, she was seated in the drawing room where CM’s PS, Vibhav Kumar, violently attacked her. Despite her allegations, the Aam Aadmi Party has entirely dismissed these claims.

Vibhav Kumar files a complaint against Maliwal

Vibhav Kumar has also filed a complaint against Swati Maliwal with the Delhi Police. In his emailed complaint, he levels serious accusations against her including trespassing, mistreating CM security, and causing a security risk by forcibly entering the residence. He sent this complaint to the DCP of the North District and SHO Civil Lines.

Swati Maliwal accompanies police to CM’s residence

On Friday at 04:40 PM, an FSL team along with the Delhi Police arrived at the Chief Minister's residence for inspection. After about half an hour, the FSL team departed after concluding their initial investigation. At around 06:15 PM, the FSL team returned with heavy equipment, accompanied again by the police. About 8 minutes later, at 06:23 PM, a team from the Delhi Police with Swati Maliwal in tow reached the CM's residence. Following roughly half an hour, Swati Maliwal was seen exiting the CM's house at 07:05 PM.
