In Delhi, the temperature has been recorded at 24 degrees Celsius. This year, winter seems to be slowly tiptoeing into Delhi, arriving at a leisurely pace. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), on December 5, 2008, the temperature at Mumbai's Kalina Observatory was recorded at 37.7 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature stayed at 25 degrees due to rainfall.

Last week, on November 29, Mumbai recorded a minimum temperature of 16.5 degrees Celsius, the lowest in eight years. On Wednesday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 25.8 in Colaba and 25.5 in Santacruz. The meteorological department suggests this temperature fluctuation is due to Cyclone Fengel.
