In the outskirts of Delhi's Mundka Industrial Zone, a car accessories factory became the epicenter of a blaze on Saturday afternoon. Officials confirmed that the use of a robot was crucial in tackling the fire.

Delhi Fire Services received a distress call around 4:30 pm, reporting that a factory near Metro Pillar number 610 was ablaze. In response, at least 28 fire engines were mobilized to combat the fire, successfully bringing it under control by 9 pm.

A DFS official stated that to control the flames, a robot water bowser was dispatched into the compound. It was also mentioned that the factory occupied a single-story home that had rapidly succumbed to the inferno.

The official reported that the site was blanketed with thick black smoke due to the combustion of chemicals and plastic items stored in the factory. However, there have been no reported casualties from the incident.
