Major Event at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium

Sources say that on March 8, BJP plans a grand event at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, expecting around 5,000 women from across Delhi to attend. Prominent leaders, including BJP National President JP Nadda and CM Rekha Gupta, may grace the event. The BJP announced the ₹2500 aid plan as a counter to AAP's proposed Women's Honor Scheme before the Delhi assembly elections.

Despite AAP's defeat, with Rekha Gupta assuming office on February 20, senior AAP leader Atishi pressed for the scheme's implementation. In response, CM Gupta assured that directions from AAP were unwarranted, stating the plan would commence at an appropriate time, hinting at a March 8 announcement.
