When the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (UP STF) gunned down the infamous Mangesh Yadav, a wanted criminal with a one-lakh bounty, during a daylight robbery of a jewelry store in Sultanpur, it raised many questions. Questions also surfaced regarding the surrender of the gang's leader and prime accused, Vipin Singh, in Raebareli.
Samajwadi Party
accused the police of acting based on caste bias, suggesting that Mangesh was killed because he was a Yadav, while Vipin, the main accused, surrendered without confrontation. This raises the question: is Vipin Singh indeed a bigger criminal than Mangesh Yadav? Let’s delve into the statistics...
Who is more dangerous? Mangesh Yadav or Vipin Singh?
According to the data, Vipin Singh, who surrendered, is far more dangerous than Mangesh Yadav, who died in an encounter. Vipin Singh has 36 cases of loot, dacoity, theft, and attempted murder across eight districts in Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh, while Mangesh Yadav had eight cases.
Vipin Singh has been booked under the Gangster Act in Sultanpur, Amethi, and Raebareli. Mangesh Yadav faced only one case under the Gangster Act.

Political Buzz Around Sultanpur Encounter
Political tension has escalated around the Sultanpur encounter. Several opposition parties, including the Samajwadi Party and Congress, are attacking the UP government.
Akhilesh Yadav
initially called the encounter fake, and now Rahul Gandhi has also raised questions. Amid these claims, CM Yogi Adityanath sharply criticized leaders questioning the encounter.
CM Yogi remarked, “Those who are questioning the encounter of the dacoit, if the dacoit had shot the customers in the shop, could the Samajwadi Party have brought back their lives?”
