On February 6th, 2026, at the ICC Men's Under-19 World Cup final held at Harare Sports Club, Vaibhav Suryavanshi showcased an outstanding performance with the bat. Facing England in this title clash, Vaibhav completed his century in just 55 balls. He struck eight fours and eight sixes to reach the century mark. Vaibhav's explosive batting saw him complete 150 runs off 71 balls.
In total, Vaibhav scored 175 runs off 80 balls, including 15 sixes and 15 fours, before being dismissed by Manny Lumsden. At just 14 years old, Vaibhav became the fastest batsman to score a century in an Under-19 World Cup final. It was also the second-fastest century in the history of the Under-19 World Cup.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi is now the third Indian batsman to score a century in an Under-19 World Cup final, following in the footsteps of Unmukt Chand and Manjot Kalra. Vaibhav's feat also marks the highest score in an Under-19 World Cup final. Additionally, he holds the record for most sixes in a single inning of an Under-19 World Cup match.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi has now become the batsman with the most sixes in the history of the Under-19 World Cup. He hit a total of 30 sixes during this tournament, breaking the record held by South African cricket player Dewald Brevis and New Zealand’s Finn Allen. Brevis hit 18 sixes in the 2022 edition, while Allen managed a total of 18 sixes across the 2016 and 2018 editions combined.
