Pratap Singh Khachariyawas Replaces Sunil Sharma

After facing internal objections over the nomination of Sunil Sharma and related controversies stemming from 'Jaipur Dialogues' on social media, Congress has passed the baton to Pratap Singh Khachariyawas in Jaipur.

In its fifth list, Congress fielded Murari Lal Meena for Dausa, Rajasthan, and Pratibha Suresh Dhanorkar for Chandrapur, Maharashtra. Following the unveiling of 46 candidates in its fourth list, prominent names include former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijaya Singh from Rajgarh and UP Congress chief Ajay Rai to challenge Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Varanasi. Ex-BSP leader Danish Ali, who recently confronted BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri over communal comments in the Lok Sabha, is nominated from Amroha.
