On Sunday, Congress organized a large rally named 'Vote Thief, Quit' at Ramlila Maidan in the capital city of Delhi. The rally saw the presence of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, opposition leader Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, MP Manish Tewari, among other prominent Congress leaders.

Addressing the gathering, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi fiercely criticized a statement by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, asserting that the real struggle in the country is between truth and falsehood.

Rahul Gandhi mentioned that his speech was planned in advance, but on his way, he learned about a statement made by Mohan Bhagwat in Andaman-Nicobar. He stated, "After hearing his statement, I changed my entire speech."

Rahul Gandhi emphasized that the foundation of India's culture and all religions is based on truth. He cited "Satyam Shivam Sundaram" implying that truth is the greatest virtue. However, the ideology of RSS contradicts this belief.

He accused Mohan Bhagwat and RSS of having no regard for truth, placing power and authority above everything.

On the issue of vote theft, Rahul launched a major attack on Union Home Minister Amit Shah. He said, 'They had no answers to my questions. The government was unable to answer the questions I raised in my presentation, leaving Amit Shah trembling in Parliament.'

Rahul Gandhi declared that the ongoing battle in the country is between power and truth. He stated, "They have power and strength, but we have truth, and I can assure you that standing with truth, we will overthrow the Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, and RSS-BJP government from power."

In his address, Rahul Gandhi leveled serious accusations against the Election Commission. He said that the Election Commission is no longer functioning as an independent and impartial body, but is making decisions in collaboration with the government.

He named the three Election Commissioners, stating that they are part of the same battle where the truth is being suppressed.

Rahul Gandhi also raised questions about a new law granting complete immunity to Election Commissioners. He remarked, "According to the new law, no action can be taken against Election Commissioners, regardless of what they do. This is extremely dangerous for democracy."

He clearly stated that if Congress comes to power, this law will be amended and the officials of the Election Commission will be held accountable.

Addressing the Election Commissioners directly, Rahul Gandhi said, “You are the Election Commissioners of India, not Narendra Modi."

Concluding his speech, Rahul Gandhi proclaimed that the Congress Party is fighting a battle for truth and that the impartiality of institutions is crucial to safeguarding democracy. He highlighted that people from various parts of the country are joining this fight, and this is the true strength of democracy.
