Minister in the Bihar government, Nitin Nabin, has been awarded a major responsibility within the Bharatiya Janata Party. The party has appointed him as the National Executive President. Nitin Nabin (45), a five-time legislator from Bankipur, Patna, is the youngest national president in BJP's history. Born in Patna, Nitin Nabin is the son of senior BJP leader and former MLA Naveen Kishore Prasad Sinha and currently holds the position of Road Construction Minister in Bihar's Nitish government.
According to the affidavit submitted during this year's Bihar Assembly elections, Nitin Nabin's wife is Deepmala Srivastava, and they have a son and a daughter.
After the passing of his father, Nitin Nabin actively entered electoral politics and quickly established his distinct identity. Since his victory in the 2006 by-election, his winning streak has continued. He has been victorious in the Assembly elections of 2010, 2015, 2020, and 2025. In the 2025 assembly election, he won a significant victory by securing 98,299 votes, defeating RJD candidate Rekha Kumari by a margin of 51,936 votes.

As per the affidavit, Nitin Nabin is a high school graduate. He completed his matriculation from St. Michael's High School under the CBSE board in 1996. He then passed his intermediate from CSKM Public School, New Delhi, in 1998. Like a modern politician, he is active on digital platforms. How Many Cases Against Nitin Nabin?
The legal standing of the new National Executive President has been clearly outlined in his affidavit. Nitin Nabin confirmed that he has not been convicted in any case. However, five cases remain pending against him in various courts. These cases are primarily related to political disruptions and protests, an occupational hazard for an active politician.
The sections under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) involved include Section 147 (rioting), 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by a public servant), 353 (assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty), and 341 (wrongful restraint).
