Your wait is over! If you're dreaming of owning a home in Delhi, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has launched its housing scheme. A total of 39,881 flats are available for sale. These flats will be sold under three different schemes.
According to DDA, registration begins on August 22, with flat bookings starting on September 10 and the scheme remaining open until March 31, 2025. All these flats are ready for occupancy, so buyers can move in immediately.
Under the 'Affordable Homes' scheme, there are 34,177 flats priced between ₹11.90 lakh and ₹25.6 lakh. In Rohini, there are 726 LIG flats. The most affordable homes are available in Narela. These flats will be sold on a 'first come, first served' basis.

According to DDA, the registration fee for all categories of flats is ₹2,500. The booking amount is ₹50,000 for EWS, ₹1 lakh for LIG, ₹4 lakhs for MIG, and ₹10 lakhs for HIG accommodations.
What is 'First Come, First Served' Scheme?
Previously, DDA flats were allocated through lotteries. However, under the 'first come, first served' scheme, two categories of flats will be sold on this basis. Customers can get their preferred flat if they arrive first.
In simple terms, customers must first register for DDA flats with a registration fee of ₹2,500. The booking for flats starts on September 10.

DDA's Special Rule
Under the 'first come, first served' scheme, neither the registration amount nor the booking amount is refundable. Hence, it is advised to visit the site and check out the flat before registering. DDA has provided a helpline number for this purpose. Visit the flat location, where a DDA representative will give you complete information. Inspect every detail of the flat and register only when satisfied. This way, you won't regret it later.
After registration, the booking window opens on September 10. Try to book as soon as possible, pay the booking amount, and the flat will be yours. Additionally, when you visit to see the DDA flats, look at multiple flats and note their numbers, so you have options if your first choice is unavailable during booking.
DDA insists on showing the flats to customers before booking. Once the customer likes the flat, the registration process starts. DDA approved these three housing schemes this month. Flats in the first two schemes will be allocated on a 'first come, first served' basis, while the third scheme will use e-auction.
