The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Bihar has declared the allocation of seats. Under the division, the BJP will play the role of elder brother and contest on 17 seats. Meanwhile, the JDU has secured 16 seats. In regard to other allies, Chirag Paswan's Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) has been allotted 5, Jitan Ram Manjhi's HAM received 1, and Upendra Kushwaha's Rashtriya Lok Janata Dal has secured 1 seat.
It's noteworthy that Pashupati Paras, head of the LJP and Minister of Food Processing in the Modi government, has not been allocated any seats.
Reports suggest that discontented by not receiving a seat in the NDA coalition, Pashupati Paras may soon resign from the Modi cabinet. It is said that Pashupati is upset over Chirag Paswan's LJP (Ram Vilas) being granted 5 Lok Sabha seats during seat-sharing discussions without prior consultation.
