An urgent and high-profile kidnapping case has come to light in Maharashtra's Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The 7-year-old son of a renowned city builder was abducted while cycling near his home.

During this unsettling event, a car suddenly stopped near the child, and 3 to 4 unknown individuals quickly whisked him away.

This incident occurred in the N4 area of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The child, belonging to famous builder Sunil Tupe, was cycling around 9 PM when a Swift car approached. Several individuals emerged from the car, seizing the child and speeding away.

Shortly thereafter, a call hit the phone of builder Sunil Tupe, demanding a whopping ransom of 20 million INR—news that struck terror into the family's heart. CCTV footage later confirmed the car's presence near the child, yet the video's inability to capture the car's number has sparked debates about the efficacy of the Smart City's surveillance systems.

Builder Sunil Tupe immediately informed the police, who discovered that the ransom call originated from the nearby Sillod tehsil. Efforts to trace the phone call are currently underway, though the phone is off. Given the case's severity, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar's Police Commissioner Pravin Pawar has assembled a special officers' team dedicated to the child's rescue. Investigations are actively proceeding to solve this concerning case.
