The ruling party of Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party's leader Atishi, held a press conference on Friday to level fresh allegations against the Bharatiya Janata Party. She charged that a significant political conspiracy is being hatched to bring down Arvind Kejriwal's government and claimed that there are plans afoot to impose President's Rule in Delhi. She has also objected to letters written to the Ministry of Home Affairs by the Lieutenant Governor.
On Friday, Atishi launched an attack on the central government, saying that credible sources have informed her that BJP-led central authority plans to establish President's Rule in the upcoming days. She expressed dissent on the correspondence by the Lieutenant Governor to the MHA.
'There's a major plot to overthrow the government,'
claims Atishi. She revealed that by reviving an old case, the Chief Minister's personal secretary has been sacked. This action is part of a bigger conspiracy to dethrone Arvind Kejriwal's government. The BJP-run Centre and Enforcement Directorate have arrested Arvind Kejriwal in a fabricated case, evidencing their inability to win elections and hence their desire to dismiss the elected government.
'Unlawful imposition of President's Rule'
The AAP's beneficial policies such as monthly financial support of one thousand rupees to every woman in Delhi will not be implemented by the BJP. Therefore, claims Atishi, a political plot is being engineered to obstruct this initiative. Imposing President's Rule in Delhi would be illegal.

The majority is with AAP:
Atishi declared that AAP has proven its majority in the Delhi legislative assembly on February 17. When the party in power commands a majority, a presidential rule cannot be sanctioned. She emphasized that if BJP does impose President's Rule in Delhi, it would be deemed illegal.
She stressed the fact that for many months, the transfer and posting of officials in key departments has been unjustifiably halted. The LG is writing baseless letters to the MHA, signaling a conspiracy to dismantle the Delhi government. They are trying to demonstrate that there is a constitutional crisis in Delhi. We will also contest this in court, she affirmed.
