The Rituals of Fulera Dooj (Phulera Dooj 2024 pujan vidhi)
On Fulera Dooj, rise in the Brahma Muhurta (early morning), cleanse yourself, wear fresh clothes, and take a resolution for the fast. On a pedestal, establish the idols of Radha-Krishna. Adorn them with fragrant flowers. Offer scents and vibrant colors like Abir-Gulal. Include white sweets, Panchamrit, and crystal sugar in the offerings. Recite 'Madhurashtakam' or 'Radha Kripa Kataaksh'. If recitation is difficult, simply chant 'RadheKrishna'. Donate items used for adornment and partake in the offered prasad (sacred offering).
Cautions for Fulera Dooj
Celebrate the occasion in colored and clean clothes during the auspicious timing. If you're worshiping for love, wear pink clothes. For marital happiness, opt for yellow. After worship, consume only Sattvik (pure) food. Avoid lying, anger, or insulting others.
Remedies for Harmony in Married Life
Should there be any issues in married life, tie a pink thread around the four corners of the bed on Fulera Dooj. Prevent accumulation of dirt beneath the bed. Avoid using excessive pillows for sleeping.
