CBSE Decisively Acts Against 20 Schools, Cancelling 17 and Downgrading 3

Several schools' affiliations have been cancelled by the CBSE Board, which shared details along with the names and states of those schools.

Many schools in the country are recognized by the CBSE. To ensure smooth operation, the CBSE regularly provides necessary guidelines to these schools. Recently, a covert inspection was conducted by the board, revealing that numerous schools were engaging in unauthorized activities in violation of the guidelines. Following the investigation, affiliations of certain schools were cancelled, and others were downgraded.

Shri Dashmesh Senior Secondary Public School

Assam

Shri Ram Academy School

The CBSE Board shared a press release detailing that these schools had enrolled 'dummy' students and, furthermore, had not maintained proper records for students. The list includes two schools each from Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh. Approximately 20 schools have had their affiliations cancelled, including those in Delhi, Punjab, and Assam.
