On September 20, in Sikandra, Jamui, a young man wearing an IPS uniform and carrying a pistol was arrested by the Sikandra police. The arrested youth was identified as Mithilesh Kumar, a resident of Govardhan Bigha village in the Lakhisarai district's Halsi police station area.
According to Mithilesh Kumar, he received the IPS uniform from a person named Manoj Singh in the Khaira area of Jamui district for two lakh rupees, who told him that his job had been secured in the Halsi police station. Mithilesh Kumar mentioned that people call him a fake IPS officer, which makes him feel ashamed. Mithilesh said that although he does not fully understand what an IPS officer does, he believes that if his body recovers with proper nutrition, he will either join the police or become a doctor to prove himself.
Whether Mithilesh will achieve anything remains to be seen, but he certainly hopes that the government and Jamui police will arrest Manoj Singh from Khaira, who defrauded him with the promise of an IPS job. He hopes the police will recover the money from Manoj Singh and return it to him so that he can repay his uncle.
