Tulsi Gabbard, the US National Intelligence Director, along with Canada's Intelligence Chief Daniel Rogers and the UK's top Intelligence Officer Richard Moore, are some of the key figures coming to Delhi on March 16th at the invitation of India's National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval.
Discussions will focus on sharing intelligence information, utilizing intelligence against terrorism, and controlling crimes across borders.
This critical conference on espionage and intelligence gathering will also see the presence of intelligence leaders from allied nations including Australia, Germany, and New Zealand, in addition to the US, Canada, and the UK.
It is estimated that heads and deputy heads of intelligence and security organizations from around 20 countries will attend this summit.
Tulsi Gabbard is visiting Delhi for the first time as the US National Intelligence Director to participate in the intelligence chiefs’ conference. She will also address the Raisina Dialogue and hold a face-to-face meeting with NSA Doval. During meetings with Indian counterparts, Gabbard may discuss the need to enhance collaboration between the two countries in the Indo-Pacific region.
Tulsi will arrive in India on March 15th after concluding her visit to Thailand.
With a change in Canada's leadership, India is reinforcing its defense relations with the country. Canada's Intelligence Chief, Daniel Rogers, is visiting India for this reason. Moreover, Richard Moore, known for his sharp intelligence from the UK’s MI6, is also arriving in Delhi.
Throughout their discussions, global intelligence chiefs will deliberate on the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Middle Eastern tensions, and global challenges. There is also a probability of discussions on tackling crimes in the digital space.
During the conference, NSA Doval will hold face-to-face meetings with his counterparts from several major countries.
