In response to the demand for the cancellation of the recent Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) exam, protestors disrupted rail and road traffic across several parts of the state, including Patna, on Friday. Independent MP Pappu Yadav and left-wing student organizations staged protests against the government.
According to news reports, protestors at the Secretariat Halt Railway Station in Patna stalled the Buxar-Fatuha passenger train for around 20 minutes by sitting on the tracks in the morning. Pappu Yadav, along with his supporters, halted traffic by burning tires on roads in Patna, Araria, Purnia, and Muzaffarpur.
The Chief Public Relations Officer of Railways, Saraswati Chandra, stated that an FIR has been filed by the railway police against the protestors. Patna police have registered cases against Congress and left party legislators, including Shakeel Ahmad, Gopal Ravidas, Mehboob Alam, Suryakant Paswan, and other leaders for disrupting traffic and disturbing law and order.

I will stand by whatever the students decide.'
