The military profession has always been revered in society. It's often said that not everyone gets the chance to serve their nation. The government asserts that the Agnipath scheme will fan the flames of patriotism among the youth. Dubbed a game-changer for the armed forces, it aims to enhance preparedness for tomorrow's challenges.

Under the 'Agnipath Scheme,' aspirants will enlist in the Army, Navy, and Air Force with a new rank – 'Agniveer.' Approximately 40-45 thousand youths, aged between 17.5 and 23, will be recruited annually.
