In Pakistan's Balochistan, the Baloch Liberation Army hijacked a train. The group claims they have taken 182 passengers hostage and alleged the killing of 11 Pakistani soldiers. Additionally, they've shot down a drone. Following the hijacking, the BLA issued a direct warning to the Shehbaz government, that if the Pakistani army moves against them, all hostages will be executed. So far, Pakistani military and police have remained silent on the event.

BLA spokesperson, Jeyand Baloch, stated, 'The Baloch Liberation Army conducted a planned operation in Mashkaf, Dhadar, Bolan. Our freedom fighters sabotaged a railway track, forcing Jafar Express to halt. Soldiers swiftly took control of the train and all its passengers.'

'Grave Consequences of A Military Operation'

The BLA's warning to Shehbaz's government emphasizes that any attempted military operation would result in catastrophic consequences. The mass killing of hostages would be solely on Pakistan's military's hands.

BLA Claims Soldier Fatalities

The BLA reported that six soldiers have been killed so far. They hold Pakistan entirely accountable for this operation.

The operation is led by the Majeed Brigade, STOS, and BLA's special unit, Fateh Squad, ready to respond robustly to any military action.

'If Air Strikes Don’t Cease…'

BLA's final warning indicated that unless air strikes halt immediately, all 100+ hostages would be executed within an hour. Pakistan faces a critical decision—cease air strikes and engage in negotiations for safe release, or risk losing over 100 soldiers.

According to BLA, members of Pakistan's army, police, ISI, and ATF on leave in Punjab are among the detainees. Women, children, and Baloch passengers have been freed.

BLA Repelled Pakistan's Ground Forces

While the Pakistani ground troops attempted a rescue operation, BLA fighters pushed them back. Following intense combat, Pakistani soldiers were forced to retreat, failing to regain control of the train.

'Train Departed From Quetta At 9 AM'

Railway officials note that contact is lost with the 450 passengers and staff aboard the nine-coach Jafar Express, which left Quetta at 9 AM.

Remarkably highlighting the escalating Baloch insurgency, BLA continues targeting strategic assets and high-ranking military personnel.
